The employment equity policy addresses the disparities in employment, occupation and income, as derived and aligned with the National and Provincial Labour Market indicators in order to address past discrepancies.
This policy seeks to achieve equity in the workplace by:
– Promoting equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment through elimination of unfair discrimination;
– Deliberately striving to achieve a representative workforce reflecting the demographics as applicable;
– Implementing affirmative action measures to redress the disadvantages in employment experienced by designated groups; and
– Developing an Employment Equity Plan that will ensure standardised process of implementing the policy.

After 26 years in the Financial Services sector in the UK Simon held Director positions with Capita (UK) as Director Vibration White Finger and The Shareholder Partnership as Operations Director. Simon has created and chaired Audit, Remuneration and Finance Committees as well as Strategy Boards and Programme Offices.
In 2004 Simon established his own international leadership development and strategy company operating primarily in the UK, Egypt & South Africa.
The main focus has been a combination of designing and delivering bespoke leadership programmes, Executive Coaching and HR Strategic interventions.
